Rock Paper Scissor Lezard Spock, just like in the tv series The Big Bang Theroy but adapted to us. It’s a project created at school. The concept is to send text message to this game, and it will react.
We have to connect a Symbian OS in a Windows OS which will serve as an intermediary between the player and the game. In our case, we used a Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro. To make this connection, we have to open the code in Processing. This code will help us filter players’ text message. We can only accept the words : ”Login”, “R”, “Roche”, “P”, “Papier”, “C”, “Ciseau”, “L”, “Lezard”, “S”, “Spock”, “Logoff”. Those words will go to a database and it will keep track of players’ phone number and order.
Animations are drew and animated in Flash. This software will managed players’ scores and displayed it on the screen game that works with Ajax. In all, there are 25 animations : 10 attacks for the left player, 10 attacks for the right one and 5 animations in case of a tie.
PLAYER POINT OF VIEW
The player needs to send a text message to a specific phone number. First step is to send “Login” for the database to recognize it and secondly, the player has to send the first letter of the character he wants to chose.
